Taking leather home: packing, shipping and care.

You found the piece you love. Here is how to get it home in good shape and keep it that way for years.

Taking leather home: packing, shipping and care.

Carry it on if you can

A bag you have just bought is safest in your hand luggage. If it goes in the hold, wrap it in its dust bag and pack it in the middle of the case, surrounded by soft clothes.

Keep its shape

Fill the bag lightly with paper or soft clothing so it does not crease. Do not seal leather in plastic for long: it needs to breathe.

Shipping instead of carrying

If your luggage is full, we can send your purchase on request with FedEx, DHL or Turkish Post. The price depends on the destination and how fast you need it. Import duties, where they apply, are paid by the recipient.

Keep the receipt

Keep your receipt or WhatsApp confirmation. It is your proof for the lifetime guarantee on leather, zips and hardware.

Everyday care

Keep leather dry and away from heaters and strong sun. Brush suede with a soft suede brush in one direction. Once or twice a year, a little conditioner keeps smooth leather supple; test it on a hidden spot first.

If something goes wrong at home

Message us on WhatsApp with a photo and your receipt. For anything covered by the guarantee we agree a repair or replacement, on your next visit or by post at our cost.
